GARDENS

Countryside Borders

These expansive perennial borders form part of a larger ongoing master planning exercise for this handsome property in Rutland.

With a large arable and pasture landscape, open horizons and the engineering wonder of the Harringworth viaduct all in view, the borders have been designed to create a visual link between the distant landscape and perennial wildflower meadows on the edge of the garden.

By using flowering plants with similar flower structure and colour to their wild neighbours, the wider rural setting has been respected and a beautiful garden foreground created.
