Country Estate – Terraces & Main Garden
As part of the ongoing renovation of this 50 acre country estate, extensive redesign and replanting of a south facing terrace and east facing courtyard have been undertaken.
The terrace was given structure and greater formality through the addition of large yew cubes, and a new planting scheme featuring sun loving perennials and grasses.
The courtyard was previously a large expanse of featureless gravel. As this part of the house dates back to Tudor times a design inspired by the gardens of that era was implemented, featuring beech cubes and a quatrefoil water feature.
